Tiktok continues to lead and achieve more successes
TikTok continues to share short videos, making quick successes in the world of other social media accounts, despite the fierce competition in the online sector.
According to a new report on app penetration issued by the BBC citing a recent statistic, TikTok has become one of the most growing social media apps outperforming social platform giant Facebook, and has become one of the most attractive apps for young users in the world.
The report indicated that teens in the UK are turning to TikTok for news as a traditional source of updates even though there are no reliable local government sources to spread news on the platform.
The report confirmed that TikTok has become the fastest growing news source for people between the ages of 12 and 15, in a new record success for the platform, with 7% of users turning to TikTok for different news, after only 1% in the latest statistic for 2020.
The TikTok application is the most growing by 6% in just two years, while Facebook continues to control the stats with 32% of users, but it is down from 40% in 2020, and Facebook has faced a crisis in recent years after being accused of helping spread false news, and the incident was Famous is the influence on elections in the United States before Donald Trump came to power.

After Tiktok and Facebook, Twitter came in third place in terms of social applications, with teens turning to it with 17%, while Instagram came in fourth place with 16% and then WhatsApp came in fifth place with 14%.
Another report from The Guardian stated that TikTok's record success is incomprehensible, due to the application's business algorithms, which are based on suggesting entertainment content that teens like and thus considering it as a preferred source of news which is interesting.
